Identity Theft Reminder

8/20/2010 9:25 AM

Category: Alerts and Scams

Your local bank does NOT require you to provide account information over the phone or through email. If you ever question why someone is asking for your personal information, it is best to NOT give it and to contact someone you trust.

Identify theft is a devastating violation of a consumer's assets and good name. It's also the fastest growing crime in the nation with an estimated 900,000 cases anticipated this year alone. That's one every minute!
