Powered by Community is an institutional, local and regional initiative designed by Panhandle State Bank and its locally operated divisions Intermountain Community Bank and Magic Valley Bank.
The initiative was established in December 2008 as a unique way to put community assets together to rebuild our financial and social success from the ground up. Powered by Community puts ideas, people and resources together in collaboration for a better future. Although grants are made through Powered by Community, this is not a check-writing project.
At every level, leaders are engaged from throughout the community to identify needs and to help put together collaborations to make the most of limited resources. Powered by Community serves as a hub for information, coordination and expertise, putting all the pieces together and communicating the results.
Powered by Community programs are hands-on and immediate, offering access, training, and partnerships to existing and emerging businesses and non-profit organizations. It works through education, networking, empowerment, and grant making.
When it comes to community support, IMCB believes in a very personal and involved approach to investment. Each branch gets involved with education and seniors' initiatives in their communities by raising funds that are
matched by the IMCB corporate office.
IMCB supports community and youth leadership, because our goal is to multiply the impact of our participation by adding it to yours!
